Year of the Dragon

Chinese New Year 2012 (23. January) - Start of the Year of the Dragon

Chinese Lunar New Year is celebrated around the world by communities of ethnic Chinese people. The Spring Festival (春節) is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. The festival has many traditions that may vary regional, the most important tradition is the family reunion, mainland China is moving around in overcrowded trains and buses to get to their loved ones.

The Dragon is the most important sign in the Chinese zodiac, there is even family planning underway to get a child born in the Year of the Dragon.
