On a sky blue field centered a traditional Osage Nation shield decorated with six white crosses, decorated with seven eagle feathers superimposed by two symbols of peace: a calumet or peace pipe representing Native Americans, and a green olive branch which is the symbol of peace for the white man. Beneath the shield placed the state's name in white "OKLAHOMA."
