Brunei, officially the State of Brunei Darussalam is a small oil-rich constitutional sultanate on the northwestern coast of Borneo, it is divided by parts of Malaysia's state of Sarawak, the national capital is Bandar Seri Begawan. With an area of 5,765 sq km, Brunei is slightly bigger than twice the size of Luxembourg, or slightly smaller than the U.S. state of Delaware. The country has a population of 400,000 people. Spoken languages are Bahasa Melayu (Malay, official), English, Chinese and native languages of Borneo.
