Satellite view is showing the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, built by the Maya civilization. The pyramid of Chichen Itza is a symbol of knowledge and place of worship of the Mayan culture. The pre-Columbian city is located in the northern center of the Yucatán Peninsula of present-day Mexico and is one of the most important examples of the Mayan-Toltec civilization.
